If you’re on this site we’re assuming you’re interested in form, want to learn how to design a fitness programme or are stuck in a rut with your exercise regime and are looking for some inspiration.
We’ve predominantly designed this site for physiotherapy students attending Cardiff University. However we’ve found we’ve developed interest from a much wider audience. We wanted to incorporate expertise required within physiotherapy with previous exercise knowledge gained through personal training, and this is what we came up with.

We have the main exercises everyone has heard of- squat, press up, deadlift and also picked some lesser known ones (deadbug for example), divided the exercises into upper or lower body, trunk or core, isolation or compound and then we’ve got a separate section for Olympic lifts. There is also an A-Z list of exercises with explanatory photos of poor and good form and links to videos on our YouTube channel. The majority of the videos have been taken without weight on the bar so you can see form in action (we also didn’t want to dishearten any men by being able to lift heavier than them).
We have provided aerial, front and side on views to give you various angles where necessary and included progressions and regressions.
There is a presentation on programme design which will help you create a programme for a patient, as well as a safety section and a test yourself area which is great for you to see what you have learnt.
We are sure that you will find this website a valuable resource and will revisit even after graduating.
